Choir Staff
Andrew Koebler, Organist and Choirmaster at All Saints, received his earliest musical training in Philadelphia under the tutelage of his father, and from the Choirmaster at Holy Apostles (Episcopal) Church. His musical training continued at Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey, and at the College of New Jersey. He has held church positions in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. In addition to his work at All Saints, he is on the faculty of Collegiate School and an adjuct Assistant Professor at the University of Richmond.
Reginald Long, Associate Organist at All Saints, is a native of Virginia. Among his earliest teachers was Charles Cooke, Organist and Choirmaster Emeritus of All Saints. Mr. Long holds a bachelor's degree in church music from Shenandoah University. His recitals include Washington National Cathedral and London, England. Mr. Long is a frequent performer in the Richmond area. Memberships include the American Guild of Organists, the Royal School of Church Music, and the British Harpsichord Society.
Darlene Spires has been associated with this music program in various capacities for over twenty years. She is the mother of three former choristers and a chorister herself. A talented amateur at the piano, she has a broad knowledge of classical music, especially English sacred choral music. A former teacher, she has a bachelor's degree in education from Virginia Commonwealth University and has served as music administrator since 1992. As Choir Librarian, she is responsible for maintaining a collection of hundreds of musical manuscripts, some of them dating back nearly a century.
